According to Georgia Tech’s website, the university currently has a student body of over 21,000 students. How many of those students come from countries outside of the U.S.? Answer: more than 3,000.
The university prides itself upon admitting students of the highest caliber, but everyone, regardless of their achievements, could use and should seek assistance with their communication skills, regardless of cultural provenance, language background, or level of education; there is always room for improvement.
For the benefit of students at Georgia Tech who wish to improve their English communication skills that can increase their likelihood of academic and professional success now and in the future, we are providing links to organizations (some free, some for-profit), both on campus and off campus, whose mission concerns the teaching and learning of English as a second or other language.
